Hollywood stars embrace speed at F1’s Las Vegas Grand Prix

The Las Vegas Grand Prix, which took place on Saturday night, was a star-studded event that drew the attention of many celebrities. The race was watched by 20 Formula 1 racers, but the real show was happening in the grandstands. Celebrities such as Brad Pitt, Justin Bieber, Kylie Minogue, Rihanna, Shaquille O’Neal, David Beckham, and Heidi Klum were in attendance, with Paris Hilton representing the famous-for-being-famous void left by the absence of the Kardashians.

Actor Brad Pitt was reportedly at the event to research for a Formula 1 movie in which he will star alongside F1 driver Lewis Hamilton. Before the race, the stars walked the red carpet in their designer outfits and mingled in the pit area. They then settled into their seats in the exclusive Paddock Club, where they enjoyed elite hospitality. Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay even took a lap around the track before the race.

The race itself, Formula 1’s first in Las Vegas since 1982, was highly anticipated. Despite a rocky start, with the first practice being canceled due to a loose manhole cover and fans being ejected from the grandstands, the race ended on a high note. Max Verstappen overcame a penalty and crash to emerge victorious, securing his record 18th win in 21 races. Justin Bieber had the honor of waving the checkered flag for Verstappen as he crossed the finish line.

Overall, the celebrities in attendance would have certainly felt that their $20,000 seats were worth the money. The event was a star-studded affair and a great success for Formula 1.
