Troy Bright, from Dana Point, hit a mega progressive jackpot of $1,155,366 while playing Face Up Pai Gow Poker at the Caesars Entertainment-owned property. Impressively, he achieved this win in less than 30 minutes of play, with the jackpot coming on his second hand.
Bright, who was in Las Vegas to watch a football game, will be sharing his windfall with his family and is a member of Caesars Rewards program. This wasn’t the only big win at a Caesars Entertainment property over the weekend, with an unnamed player at Caesars Palace Las Vegas hitting two jackpots within an hour while playing slot machines, totaling $405,000.
Other recent jackpots in the Las Vegas area include a Canadian woman winning $222,899 at the Horseshoe Las Vegas, a player named Stephen G. winning $203,180 at Sunset Station Hotel and Casino, and a player at Chicken Ranch Casino in California winning a record $439,972 on a slot machine.
