Playtech Launches Live Dealer Studio in Pennsylvania to Enhance iGaming Experience

Playtech Launches Largest Live Dealer Table Game Studio in Pennsylvania

The online gaming technology company, Playtech, has launched its third and largest live dealer table game studio in the United States. The Isle of Man-based business opened the new live casino studio in Pennsylvania, following previous entries in New Jersey and Michigan. According to, the soft launch of the Pennsylvania live casino began on November 28, and the facility is expected to commence 24/7 operations soon.

With the addition of Playtech’s live dealer games, online casino players in Pennsylvania now have a new option to enjoy VIP blackjack and roulette through the betPARX iGaming network. Playtech Live CEO Edo Haitin expressed excitement about the expansion into Pennsylvania, stating that the company remains committed to delivering an extraordinary online gaming experience for players in the state.

Pennsylvania is one of only six states where online casinos with interactive slot machines and table games are legal, alongside New Jersey, Delaware, West Virginia, Connecticut, and Michigan. Among these states, New Jersey, Michigan, and Pennsylvania have been at the forefront of the iGaming market.

In 2022, Pennsylvania’s online casinos generated approximately $1.36 billion in revenue, with 2023 showing an even stronger performance. Playtech’s partnership with betPARX in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania is a strategic move to capitalize on the growing iGaming market in these states.

While Parx Casino is a dominant force in Pennsylvania’s brick-and-mortar gaming market, its online operations, including betPARX, still account for a small portion of the state’s total online gaming revenue. However, the company aims to expand its online presence with live dealer table games alongside other key players in the Pennsylvania iGaming market, such as BetMGM, DraftKings, FanDuel, and BetRivers.

The expansion of Playtech’s live dealer table game studio into Pennsylvania signals the company’s commitment to capitalizing on the growing iGaming market in the U.S., particularly in states with legalized online casino gaming. With the surge in online gaming revenue in Pennsylvania, the move by Playtech aligns with the company’s goal of providing cutting-edge gaming experiences to players in key territories.
